We spent several hours geocaching while we were camping last weekend. One cache was hidden up a rather steep hill, with no trails to follow. It was an absolutely gorgeous location and the cache was appropriately named Nature's Cathedral.
Due to heavy tree cover we couldn't seem to get an accurate GPS reading, so we never did find the cache but we did come across this interesting structure someone had built some time ago.
I didn't try to go inside but it appears to be just barely big enough for one person to sit in with his legs tucked up.
We wondered who built it. A camper? A hunter? A boy scout?
We do come across the most interesting things in our backwoods exploring!
