Hoar Frost

Someone commented to me that we seem to be having the most interesting weather this winter. I have to agree. Here's another phenomenon I don't remember seeing before... at least not this dramatically. This is not snow. It's frost!

Out of whose womb came the ice?
and the hoary frost of heaven, who hath gendered it?
Job 38:29

What wonderful photos! We really have been having such interesting weather too. Our inversion here trapped all the cold air in the atmosphere and left our world looking a bit like frost on everything. It was really pretty. And now we have snow.... Again, beautiful photos!!

Ah, the (very) rare guy comment! Always fun to stop by your blog and get my dose of crocheting, beautiful pictures, and poems about flowers. :)

For a glimpse of what you missed Saturday, check out my latest post.

Looking forward to hear about the girls' latest skiing outing and what Farrah comes up with for the photo post that you tagged her for.

See you guys tomorrow evening!

I LOVE, LOVE these pictures! I wanted to take some myself recently of the trees covered with frost but didn't get around to it.

Set your heart toward the highway...
