Miracle of Mercy Land - review

The Miracle of Mercy Land by River Jordan appealed to me because it's set in the 1930s in the south, and the main character, Mercy Land, is a preacher's daughter who works for the local small-town newspaper. Usually, all of those are elements I enjoy in a story, so I wanted to like this book. Unfortunately, I just couldn't. It was a hard story to get into, with elements of fantasy and mysterious characters, and I had a hard time caring about the main characters. However, I noticed that there are other reviewers that just loved it. If it sounds like something you might enjoy, I would encourage you to read more reviews to see what others took away from it. You might like it.

Karla,

Thank you for featuring The Miracle of Mercy Land to your readers. I'm sorry it wasn't one of your favorite reads but you so beautifully expressed how different stories call to different people.

Hope you have a great week!

Warmest,
