Recently I had a chance to review the
Rock Solid Faith Study Bible for Teens. This hardback NIV Bible is designed for teens ages 13-16 and includes short, pertinent articles throughout the text to help teens understand the truth of the Bible. It also includes reading plans, topical indexes, a concordance, and color maps. The print seemed pretty small for a teen Bible, and the format was not as trendy or appealing as some I've seen, but in general it includes lots of helpful features to help teens become established in their faith as they wrestle with some of life's "big" questions. I think even older teens or college-age students would find it helpful.
Articles include:
- Truths that examine Christian beliefs and explorations of other religions;
- Principles that apply the Bible to relationships, sex, money, and more;
- Promises that call out what is (and is not) promised in the Scriptures;
- Plans that explore God’s plan for daily life;
- People that provide scriptural examples of overcoming challenges; and
- Unshaken God that points out God’s amazing and unyielding attributes.
Thank you to B&B Media Group for providing me with a copy in exchange for my honest review.
