On our way home from the
Christian Heritage conference in the Seattle area, we decided to take a little detour to the
tulip farms. Since it was already May 1, I was afraid we might have missed the blooms, but they seemed to be at their peak. What a feast for the eyes! I especially appreciated a sign I saw that said, "To God give the glory!"
Laura took more pictures which she has posted on her photography blog @
Through My Eyes. She got some spectacular ones!

So pretty! I love the ones in the top and bottom right hand corners. I noticed this year that my tulips have bloomed over a rather long period. Some are totally finished and others are at their peak. It's made it nice for enjoying them(they are planted in the same beds so must be different kinds bloom different times). I have some beautiful pink ones blooming right now beside the lavendar phlox - such a pleasing combination! Thank you for sharing these lovely pics of springtime!
Beautiful flowers! You must have had a wonderful day.
