Note: I had never seen a "ruffled" pansy before, but I couldn't pass this one up when I found it in the garden department of WalMart a couple weeks ago. Isn't it exquisite? Pansies love the fall weather and I love watching it thrive on my back porch. I snapped this shot when the sun broke through the clouds for a bit yesterday afternoon. My new camera doesn't seem to have what it needs to get good sky pictures, but I have captured some lovely close-ups with it! Click on the picture to enlarge it to see the detail.

Oh, Karla, that is beautiful! I bought a new camera in Sept and still can't figure it out. It can be very frustrating. Oh well, eventually I will. Have a great WFW!

Karla, that is a beautiful photo. I just happen to be making a trip to W-M in a bit...I'll have to stroll through the garden center.
I love pansies, but mostly I love how God has a heart to delight His children. He didn't have to make things with such startling colors...and he didn't have to give us the ability to see colors. Yet it delighted Him to gift us in this way.
