not to mention icicles and such-like,
it isn't so Hot in my field
about three o'clock in the morning."

I'm trying to decide what kind of "tree" that is.
I'm hopeful it's a dogwood.
Can anybody tell for sure?

I would love to see that scene outside my door, Karla, as it rarely snows here in the Atlanta area.
I'm not very good at recognizing plants, but that doesn't look like our dogwoods - which are already in bloom, by the way! Your tree has lots of buds, so you should be able to tell soon.
I don't know what the tree is, but I always love to see a fresh snow covering. It is is quiet and cozy.
I guess because it sort of slows the world down a little, I love it.
However, I'm with you in being ready for spring!
That was so neat the one of the White Sisters contacted you! I listened to them by the hour when I was young. Found their record in our library. I loved their harmony!
My guess is the tree may be a redbud. Rachel is good at identifing trees. Maybe she will tell us.
It's snowing over here right now!
Please say a prayer for me, as I'm not feeling all that great today.
